What is a MitzvahArt? |
MitzvahArt commemorates the accomplishment of a Bar/Bat Mitzvah by incorporating the date, place and torah portion of the day into a custom-made, ready-to-hang piece of framed artwork.
MitzvahArt will be a precious reminder of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah's significant achievement. We believe it will be a harbinger of his/her bright future as an accomplished, successful adult.

How do I find the right Torah Portion? |
The Torah Portion for the week of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah is usually much larger than the portion the Bar/Bat Mitzvah studies and recites. Please provide the Torah portion the Bar/Bat Mitzvah will recite please.
The Bar/Bat Mitzvah, the family, the Rabbi from their Congregation, or their tutor can help you determine the Book and Verses.
If the Bar/Bat Mitzvah is reciting one aliyah it's often the Maftir.

Does the Hebrew Torah Portion have vowels? |
Back to top |
After many discussions, one wise rabbi suggested that each Bar/Bat Mitzvah should be able and encouraged to read their portion each year on the anniversary of their Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Vowels make it easy for non-Hebrew speaking Jews to recall their study. This seemed the strongest argument for or against vowels so we use them.
