Kittel – Lace Detail
The kittel is worn at the moments when a man stands most plainly before his Creator — Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, the seder table, and beneath the chuppah. White, unlined, without pockets: a garment that carries no rank and no ornament of station.
This kittel is made by Melechet Machshevet from 100% cotton — light, soft and breathable, which matters over the long hours of Yom Kippur. It is finished with woven stripe detailing set with lace along the collar and placket, restrained rather than ornate, and it falls cleanly under a tallis.
No shatnez concern.
