יַיִן הַמְשֻׁמָּר

Yayin HaMeshumar  ·  “The Preserved Wine”

Color: Deep Burgundy

Named for the wine preserved since the six days of Creation, kept for the righteous. Pools of deep burgundy gather in the olive burl like wine held in the cup of Kiddush.

Hand-poured epoxy resin in deep burgundy and wine red runs through natural Israeli olive wood, following the grain wherever it leads. Because the wood decides as much as the hand does, no two boards have ever come out the same — and no two ever will. The board is engraved in Hebrew and finished food-safe.

A centerpiece for the Shabbos table, where the challah rests on a living piece of the Land of Israel.
